Are you considering becoming a <a href="https://true.gbci.org/true-advisor" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TRUE Advisor</a> but think it would be more fun to do it with a team of other professionals? Have you registered for the TRUE Advisor, but need some additional structure to achieve your credential? Instead of studying on your own, be part of our group!Join the TRUE team this winter with virtual study groups. The goal of the study groups is to help keep you on pace to complete your TRUE Advisor this winter over the course of 5 weeks. A leader from the TRUE team will host a one hour live meeting weekly on Wednesdays at 3 PM EST, Noon PT beginning March 2nd to answer questions from participants from the previous week’s TRUE Advisor learning modules and share additional zero waste resources.TRUE Advisors understand the requirements of the rating system, help projects achieve TRUE certification and are committed to advancing zero waste values and policies. As a TRUE Advisor, you’ll be the resident expert at your company in supporting and implementing zero waste programs and leading facilities through the certification process.Earn the TRUE Advisor certificate to showcase your commitment to preserving and improving the environment, that you possess the knowledge necessary to divert and document unnecessary waste from landfills, incineration (waste-to-energy) and the environment, and a willingness to assist others in achieving zero waste operations.The TRUE Advisor certificate program is comprised of 12 online narrated modules designed to train participants on the TRUE Rating System, zero waste terminology, tools, technologies, and implementation strategies to assist in the <a href="https://true.gbci.org/true-program-zero-waste-certification" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TRUE certification</a> process.For more information on the TRUE Advisor and how to register, please review the <a href="https://true.gbci.org/sites/default/files/resources/TRUE-Advisor-Certificate-Program-Handbook.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TRUE Advisor Certificate Program Handbook</a>.Once the study group is confirmed you will receive additional information from the TRUE team with virtual meeting details prior to our introductory meeting on February 9th.Note: You must be <a href="https://true.gbci.org/node/add/registration-form" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">registered </a>for the TRUE Advisor to participate in this group. A wait list will be created after we reach capacity for the study group. If you are unable to attend the first session, your space will be opened up to those on the wait list.
