Three (3) full days of booklovers bliss is coming to Branson, Missouri!
150 Authors & Vendors! Bestselling New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Amazon, Award-Winning and Local / Regional Authors all in one expo!
Here's what to expect:
- Welcome Wednesday 5/7/24: 7-10 p.m. Meet & Mingle at the Hilton Branson Convention Center with our authors, vendors, models and special guests!
- Thirsty Thursday 5/8/24: 8 a.m. Flamingo VIP registration, badges/lanyards, convention totes and swag grab! 9 a.m. Orientation for all attendees. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Author Panels, Special Guest Speakers, Classes from Publishing Industry Professionals, How-To Workshops for authors and aspiring authors. 12 p.m. Buffet Lunch with the authors included!
- Fangirl Friday 5/9/24: 8 a.m. Flamingo VIP late registration. 9 a.m. Orientation for late-comers and casual social hour with the authors. 10 a.m. Author Panel and Q&A for readers. 11 a.m. Surprise! 12-2 p.m. Lunch Break. 2 - 5 p.m. Reader-centric classes: How To Write A Book Review Like A Pro; Bookfluence - What Is It And How Do I Start?; How Do I Start A Book Club And Keep It Going? 12 - 5 p.m. (OPTIONAL) Lunch With The Authors & Group Excursions in Branson (sign-up list will be available in the readers group on Facebook as we get closer to the convention - (15) TropiCon Book Expo Readers Group | Facebook).
- Super Signing Saturday 5/10/24: 9:00 a.m. Early Bird Entry for physically disabled guests (wheelchair / walker / cane). 9:30 a.m. Flamingo VIP Entry. 10:30 a.m. Early Entry VIP Ticketholders (Saturday Only). 12 p.m. Box Lunch time for Authors. 1-5 p.m. General Admission (Saturday Only). 4 p.m. Mother's Day Basket Raffle Winners Announced (must be present to win)! *1 Raffle Ticket will be awarded for each book you purchase and get signed by an attending author! ** Additional tickets may be purchased: $1 each / $5 for 6 / $10 for 12 / $20 for 30 -- ALL (100%) of raffle ticket funds go to the TropiCon'25 Branson official local humanitarian 501c non-profit charity organization!

Frequently asked questions
YES. We will have security (in uniform) at our Super Signing Saturday event, and hotel security staff is onsite 24/7 for your safety. Cameras throughout the complex are actively monitored 24/7 to detect and react to any inappropriate conduct as well. Venue staff actively patrol our conventions also.
YES. Our disabled attendees who require wheelchair, walker, cane or motorized scooter, will get to enter the book signing half an hour prior to Flamingo VIP admission on Super Signing Saturday, and expo hall aisles are 10-feet wide for ease of movement. Our host venue is also100% ADA compliant.
NO. All on-site scheduled activities are included with your Flamingo VIP ticket. ***Fangirl Friday excursions (off-site) are NOT included in the ticket price. If you choose to join authors for lunch and excursions for Fangirl Friday afternoon/evening, it is pay as you go.
NO. Each day of our convention is dedicated to a single purpose. We do not want you to miss a single exciting event, so we don't have conflicting schedules.
As a Flamingo VIP Ticket Holder, you will have three (3) DAYS to meet as many authors as you can. We cannot guarantee you'll meet every author, as every reader is different in their pace, and super popular authors may have waiting lines for signed books on Saturday.
This is entirely up to you, depending on potential waiting lines for super popular authors, but you will have four (4) hours to meet as many as you can. We can't guarantee you'll meet every author you came to see, so if you want to meet as many as possible, consider a 3-Day Flamingo VIP ticket.
YES. We have contracted a Branson Convention Center approved concessions company to provide hot and cold food and beverages for individual purchase during Super Signing Saturday.
YES. We provide bottled water for our attendees at every TropiCon Book Expo & Writing Convention. We don't want anyone getting dehydrated at our events.
YES. We have designated quiet spaces at all of our events to recover from overstimulation. We understand the noise and bustle of a book convention (especially signing day) can be a bit much to handle, so if you need a quiet space, ask one of our volunteers for directions or to be escorted to one.

Hilton Branson and its sister property across the street at Branson Landing have 529 rooms combined. We have secured a discounted room block for authors and vendors, and any unclaimed rooms remaining from this block will be offered to readers 30 days prior to the start of TropiCon'25 Branson.
