Trivia Night

The Women's Aquatic Network (WAN) brings together professionals with interests in marine, coastal and aquatic affairs and promotes the roles of women in these fields. Membership is open to both men and women in the D.C. metro area. The Women’s Aquatic Network is a private, non-profit organization incorporated in 1985 in the District of Columbia.  The WAN mission is to bring together professionals with interests in marine, coastal and aquatic policy, research, management, legislation, and other areas. WAN members are scientists, lawyers, policy-makers, natural resource managers and advocates, maritime transportation interests, entrepreneurs, academics, lobbyists, and from many other professions.  Members work in government, legislatures, private sector, academia, and non-governmental organizations.  all who are interested in WAN goals.

Join the <A HREF="https://www.womensaquatic.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Women's Aquatic Network</A>, the <A HREF="https://www.ucsusa.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Union of Concerned Scientists</A>, <A HREF="http://www.dmvawg.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">DC, Maryland, Virginia Chapter of the Association for Women Geoscientists</A>, <A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/500wsDC/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">500 Women Scientists DC Pod</A>, and <A HREF="https://www.google.com/search?q=society+for+conservation+biology&oq=Society+for+Conservation+Biology&aqs=chrome.0.0l6.243j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Society for Conservation Biology</A> in DC for a night of trivia on August 26 at Penn Social, starting at 6:30pm.
We will be raising money for <A HREF="https://livingclassrooms.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Living Classrooms</A>, an organization that aims to break the cycle of poverty through a series of programs, including using environmental and maritime resources as living learning laboratories.
Suggested donations of $10 to be collected online and at the door.
Everyone is invited! Bring your friends and coworkers for an evening full of nerdy fun and even some prizes.
