The event will feature:

  • A 3 Vs 3 category.
  • A U18s 1 Vs 1 category (age 10+).
  • Open Cyphers for the dancers.
  • “Breakin' the ice” – a pre-event open discussion between artists and audience exploring Breaking as an evolving industry, dance as a career and stigmas that dance artists face.
  • Performances from local dance groups.

Created by Rob Anderson and Paul Martin (Bad Taste Cru), ‘Triple Threat’ is a new collaboration with NOVUM Festival that aims to showcase and celebrate Breaking and Hip-Hop culture in the North East, connecting artists and communities through music, movement and dance.
