UK and International B-boys and B-girls will battle it out to see who takes the home the win! Whether you’re a Hip-Hop head or new to the culture, a veteran dancer or just taking your first steps, ‘Triple Threat’ is a family friendly event for everyone to enjoy.
The event will feature:
- A 3 Vs 3 category.
- A U18s 1 Vs 1 category (age 10+).
- Open Cyphers for the dancers.
- “Breakin' the ice” – a pre-event open discussion between artists and audience exploring Breaking as an evolving industry, dance as a career and stigmas that dance artists face.
- Performances from local dance groups.
Created by Rob Anderson and Paul Martin (Bad Taste Cru), ‘Triple Threat’ is a new collaboration with NOVUM Festival that aims to showcase and celebrate Breaking and Hip-Hop culture in the North East, connecting artists and communities through music, movement and dance.
