Welcome to our event for those interested in playing recreational soccer at Arlington Middle School! Lace up your cleats and get ready to have some fun on the field. This in-person event is a great opportunity to meet fellow soccer enthusiasts and enjoy the beautiful game together. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, all skill levels are welcome. Come join us for some friendly competition and good times. Don't miss out on the chance to be part of this exciting soccer community!
Registration is now open for JFC REC Soccer and we are asking that they move a team or teams to Arlington so we can host games at Arlington Middle School our MAIN HOME Field. Please use this page to sign-up as we need a headcount by the end of June. This will allow us to move forward and plan for additional teams. Also, if you would like to Coach or be an Assistant Coach, please sign up too!
Special Requests/Comments:
Very Important, you can go to the JFC Registration Portal to register NOW, but if you want to play on a team in Arlington, you must place either our statement (See Photo Below) or the Words “Arlington Team” on Page 4 in the Special Requests/Comments Area of the Registration Portal (See Photo Below).
There are no refunds, so I suggest that you sign up in our Eventbrite Portal, then we will build a team and forward your information to JFC. You will not have to pay in our sign-up portal and when you do, JFC will also take your payment in their Special Arlington Academy Portal which they may launch based on your overwhelming responses.
So, let’s make history together! This will be the First time all players, but with Special Emphasis on Underserved Student Populations are allowed to both “Train and Play Where They Live” with added Introductory College Connect services included!
The Administrative Details:
All U5 (2020 Birth Year) and U6 (2019 Birth Year) players who register with the club will be placed in the Recreational First Touch Academy.
The Recreational First Touch Academy will offer families the option of one or two practices a week plus a game on Saturday. The practices will be directed by a JFC trainer and assisted by parent volunteer coaches. All First Touch Academy teams are COED. The focus of the First Touch Academy will be to instruct young players to “control it” rather than “kick it”. The Rec First Touch Academy is offered twice a year:
Fall Season:
Practices start at the beginning of September and the season ends before Thanksgiving.
Fall Registration Deadline = July 15, 2024
September 2, 2024 - First Touch Academy Training Starts
September 14, 2024 - First Touch Academy Games Starts
Spring Season:
Practices start at the beginning of March and the season ends before Memorial Day.
Spring Registration Deadline = January TBD, 2025
December TBD, 2024 - Early Registration Deadline
February TBD, 2025 - First Touch Academy Training Starts
February TBD, 2025 - First Touch Academy Games Starts
Parents can have their child practice once or twice per week and all participants will play a game on Saturday. FTA will follow a ten-week curriculum.

Early Registration Price on or before June 15, 2024:
$175 for one training session and one game per week.
$225 for two training sessions and one game per week.
Registration Price after June 15, 2024, but before or on July 15, 2024:
$200 for one training session and one game per week.
$250 for two training sessions and one game per week.
Registration Deadline = July 15, 2024: Players who sign up after the deadline listed above will be automatically placed on the First Touch Academy WAIT LIST. No payment is processed until the child can be placed into the First Touch Academy.
Late Registration Price on and/or after July 15, 2024:
$225 for one training session and one game per week.
$275 for two training sessions and one game per week.
Required Equipment:
Soccer Cleats, Shin Guards, Rec Uniform (can be used multiple seasons)
JERSEY NUMBERS:
When ordering uniforms please choose the player's date of birth day. For example, if your child was born on January 5th, then his/her jersey number should be #5.
