For their debut performance, TRIO invites you to 1515 Gallery on Saturday, May 16 at 2pm to enjoy an afternoon concert.

Presenting a program of contrast and color, anchored by Antonín Dvořák’s Trio No. 4 in E Minor, "Dumky."

Doors to the gallery where the performance takes place will open at 1:30pm. The museum bistro serves lunch, beer and wine.

Bringing together three versatile instrumentalists, this piano trio features violinist Maria Marcos, cellist Chelsea Banks, and pianist Michael Corts. Bound by a shared passion for both foundational masterworks and the vibrant voices of contemporary composers, the ensemble is dedicated to creating intimate, high-energy concert experiences.

The trio can be characterized by a seamless blend of technical precision and expressive storytelling. From the soulful folk-inspired melodies of the Romantic era to the rhythmic pulse of modern works, Maria, Chelsea, and Michael bring a fresh, collaborative spirit to the stage that resonates with seasoned listeners and new audiences alike.

The trio is currently exploring the intersection of folk tradition and jazz-inspired classicism in their 2026 programming.
