About this event

Join us at Trek North Raleigh every 1st & 3rd Saturday from April to October for a 25-35 mile ride through Wake County's beautiful rolling hills. Pace will typically be between 15-17mph so we'd recommend a road bike like these if you'd like to join in the fun.

Wheels will start to roll at 9am, so be sure to show up a couple minutes early to get acquainted with the group and touch base with your ride leader, if this is your first time joining us.

Routes, ride leaders, and sometimes starting location will change, so join the Trek Ride Club on Strava to see all the updates. Helmets are required, lights and a flat kit are very strongly encouraged. And be sure to stick around post-ride for coffee and a bite at Falls River Cafe!

Frequently asked questions

What about foul weather?

The last thing we want to do is cancel a ride, but alas sometimes mother nature has other plans. At Trek we operate our rides and events with a "Green means GO, red means STOP" policy, meaning that unless the rare instance of RED (aka extreme) weather is on the radar, we RIDE!

Can I bring my ebike?

YOU BET! We love ebikes at Trek and welcome them on every ride they are already allowed on. Not sure if the route is hip to your ebike? Just give us a shout or stop by and we'll make sure you are ready to ride.

I'm a newer rider, is this for me?

This is an advanced beginner or intermediate-level ride. We're honored to be your first group ride and are always happy to teach group riding skills, but the slowest this group goes is 15mph. Not sure if you're ready? Go for a 14-15 mile ride, and if you're back home in under an hour, you're ready!
