J﻿oin us in helping make our community more beautiful! We planted trees a couple years ago at St. Paul&#x27;s, and they need our help pruning them!We will start our day with learning basic tree pruning and care from our certified arborist. We will work together with OCF AmeriCorps members and our arborists-in-training to prune up the young trees at the church. This is a low-moderate intensity event. No experience necessary, just a willingness to work with others while enjoying the outside! We will provide all tools and skills needed. Great opportunity to gain hands-on tree care and landscape experience while supporting a good cause!This event is for people over 16 years of age, for other possible events check out our eventbrite page!COVID- 19 Protocols: You should not report to your volunteer shift if you are feeling ill or are showing any symptoms of COVID-19. This waiver will be valid for for all of 2023</li><li>Volunteers 18 and older must submit a Volunteer Waiver and Release Form.</li><li>Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian complete the Volunteer Waiver and Release Form.</li><li>Volunteers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to volunteer.</li><li>Forms can be submitted electronically to volunteer@ourcityforest.org, or brought with you to your volunteer shift.</li></ul>*** If you have already submitted your forms, there is no need to send another copy. Thank you!What to Bring to Volunteer:<ul><li>Closed-toed shoes (No crocs, sandals, flats, etc.)</li><li>Proper work clothing that can get dirty (long pants are recommended, but make sure your attire is weather appropriate)</li><li>Appropriate sun protection (Sunscreen, Hat, etc.)</li><li>Water!
