About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours 30 minutes
  • ALL AGES

Join our Whitehall neighbours for a fun and rewarding day of tree planting in the median on Radford Rd. Registration begins at 8:30. The Tree Planting Demo starts at 9:00. We will be working in teams to dig the holes for 17 large trees, then prepare their root balls for planting. Once the trees are in the ground we will mulch and stake each tree.

No experience is necessary. There are activities for every skill level -- a great family event.

We provide the tools, gloves, and guidance needed, but bring your own gloves if you have them. A police detail will be directing traffic to ensure a safe planting area.

Let's work together to make our community greener and more beautiful. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a positive impact on our environment.

Tree Planting is rain or shine. It is cancelled for lightning storms. Dress appropriately for the weather. Wear sturdy shoes/boots.
