TREE LAB WORKSHOP
Overview
Join us for the first in a series of workshops providing hands-on tree care experience.
There will be three rotating modules with no more than 10 people in each for a true hands-on learning experience.
Learning Modules:
- Structural Pruning
Attendees will learn basic pruning terminology, to identify structural defects and will apply learned techniques on site during this module. - Tree ID
Attendees will learn to identify 15 native trees useful in urban landscaping situations on site - Grades and Standards
Attendees will learn to grade container grown trees on site.
The workshop is geared towards green industry professionals, landscapers, tree trimmers, pesticide applicators, nursery owners, city/county employees, HOA landscaping committes, students
This event will provide 3 CEUs for: ISA, FNGLA, LIAF
Light breakfast will be provided.
Please bring a water bottle, and dress appropriately: Closed toe shoes, pants, hats
