Tree Farm Inspector Training Workshop

The N.C. Tree Farm Program promotes the stewardship of sustainable natural resource management (wood, water, wildlife and recreation) and the benefits of forest certification through education, professional contact, peer mentoring and recognition programs.

NC Tree Farm Program

This workshop is for forestry professionals who are interested in volunteering with the N.C. Tree Farm Program. The four-hour class will cover the American Tree Farm System's <A HREF="https://www.treefarmsystem.org/stuff/contentmgr/files/2/419d6002f47f967bf2951ec125010fb0/misc/intro_to_the_standards_of_sustainability_for_landowners_dec_2015.pdf" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">2015-2020 Standards of Sustainability</A> and how to conduct a Tree Farm inspection, including filling out and submitting an inspection form. Please reference the <A HREF="https://www.treefarmsystem.org/stuff/contentmgr/files/2/ef7e67c6f86c2bb86bd8f112ba587092/misc/updated_2011_inspector_eligibility_requriements.pdf" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">eligibility requirements</A> prior to registering. 
Lunch and CFE credits will be provided.
