Vermont's Peer Workforce Development Initiative

This training will focus on ways to practice trauma-informed, person-centered approaches that center autonomy and mutuality.

Date: Thursday May 26th, 12:30pm-4:30pm This participatory workshop is intended to support participants to practice trauma-informed approaches in their work and community relationships. We will:● Reflect on Trauma’s impact on: ○ How we view the world ○ Our mind and body ○ How we interact ● Rethink “symptoms” as survival adaptations● Practice basic tools for working with people who’ve experienced trauma● Consider ways to create and sustain trauma informed spaces, interactions, and supportsThis training is generously sponsored by the Peer Workforce Development Initiative--there is no cost to participants. The training will take place virtually via zoom.
