About this event

This May, join us at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital in recognizing Trauma Awareness Month. It's a time to honor survivors, remember those lost to injuries, and take action by learning how to prevent and respond to emergencies.

We're offering free "Stop the Bleed" training sessions every week. These 1-1.5 hour courses, led by injury prevention specialists, include a lecture, hands-on practice, and light refreshments. You'll learn crucial skills to stop bleeding and save lives, making you a valuable asset in critical situations.

Event Highlights:

  • Weekly sessions throughout May
  • Free and open to all
  • Includes lecture, practical training, and participants will be entered to win a prize
  • Located at Johns Hopkins Hospital (Parking at Orleans Garage across the street, follow signs to SkyBridge to take you over to main floor of the hospital. There is a parking fee. )
