About this Event

TrashBlitz Denver was a huge success thanks to all of you! Now it&#x27;s time to look at the data we received from both home audits and outdoor cleanups! Join us on Wednesday, March 3rd, at 6 pm MT for the TrashBlitz Denver Summit where we will reveal the results including which brands and types of trash were most commonly found. Jasmin Barco from Eco-Cycle will also be sharing easy everyday actions you can take to help reduce the most common types of trash found in our community.

This is also our chance to hear from you! We want to know what the results mean to you as Denverites as well as any feedback or experiences you would like to share.

 https://www.eventbrite.com/e/trashblitz-denver-summit-registration-141851843683----------------------------Initial Event: TrashBlitz Denver will launch on October 25th, 2020 with an opening ceremony at 10 am MST via Inland Ocean Coalition&#x27;s Facebook Live and will continue until the closing ceremony at 2 pm MST via Inland Ocean Coalition&#x27;s Facebook Live on November 7th, 2020. The goal of this event is to get Coloradans to go out to randomly generated, predetermined locations in Denver and collect data on plastic pollution (type, material, and brand) through the TrashBlitz Web App to help generate a relevant action plan for Colorado. The findings, which are designed to be open source, will help show a clear and immediate need to push for policy change that centers around source reduction. If you aren&#x27;t comfortable going out for a cleanup, you can still contribute by doing an at home audit and gathering information about the items in your home you will throw away. Sign up now to help Colorado reduce plastic pollution! A welcome packet with more information and details will be sent shortly after registration.
