Public Programs

Come and join the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays during one (or more!) of our public programs! Programs are  suitable for kids of all ages. Registration is required for certain programs.

Join us at the James Farm Ecological Preserve for a captivating 1.5-hour exploration of "Trash Talk", where we'll dive into the journey of trash from land to sea. Untangle the impacts of marine debris—from small microplastics to large derelict fishing gear like crab pots—and discover how small actions can make a monumental difference for the health of water, wildlife, and people.Closed-toe shoes are encouraged. Please remember to bring water, sunscreen and insect repellant, if desired since the Preserve can be buggy.Please note: Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present at all times. We’ll be walking approximately 1-1.5 miles over various terrain with frequent stops.This program is weather permitting. Attendance is free, registration encouraged.Questions?
