What do I need to bring?

Please bring the following items: Smartphone (to check-in via QR code), mask, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, closed-toed shoes, reusable bottle with water, sunscreen and sunglasses.

Where can I park?

Parking is available at the outdoor parking lot located at the St. Mary of the Assumption Croatian Mission at 820 Paula Street, San Jose, CA 95126.

What should I expect when I arrive?

Volunteers will use their smartphone to check-in via QR code at "The Trash Punx" tent. Please arrive on time as the safety talk will start shortly after check-in. The Trash Punx will  provide a litter stick, gloves and trash bags.

Question 4

Are kids allowed to attend?

Yes, we encourage all people of all ages to attend our events. However, if they're under 16 we ask that a parent and/or guardian be present during the event.

Can I get volunteer hours at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, one of our Team Leaders can sign any paperwork you need for your volunteer hours.

If I need to leave early is that okay?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are just happy you have decided to volunteer with us for any amount of time!

Question 7

Can I invite my group, business, etc. to volunteer?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are more than happy to accomodate any group, business, etc. If you have a group larger than 25+ please reach out to info@thetrashpunx.org and we can make special accommodations.
