Join us for a Trash Bash!

Join the Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA) for a FREE, fun-filled event focused on educating the youngest members of our community on the facility where ALL of Western Placer County's trash goes to be sorted for recyclable and compostable materials. Get your hands dirty and learn how to make your own compost! Pretend you're a recycling robot and sort through trash to find valuable recyclables! Create art by re-using recycled items! Take a bus tour of our recycling facilities to watch how trash turns into treasure through our unique recycling system! Win fun prizes! And more!!
