Biography: Luana Buratynski is a Business Development professional with Bothwell-Accurate, a company approaching a century of expertise in the construction industry since its founding in 1927. Backed by a team of over 300 professionals, Bothwell-Accurate delivers customized, total building envelope solutions across North America. Luana brings 15 years of construction industry experience to her role, with the last decade focused on integrated cladding and glazing solutions for the façade design and engineering community. A Certified Technical Representative (CTR) through Construction Specifications Canada's Toronto Chapter — a designation she has maintained for 10 years — Luana combines technical fluency with a relationship-driven approach to business development. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from Griffith University in Australia.

Skylights And The Building Envelope

Presented by: Shristi Joshi, M.Arch, Artistic Skylight. Biography: Shristi is a highly accomplished Architectural Design Consultant with a distinguished career spanning more than five years within the specialized roofing and building-envelope sector. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology from George Brown College and furthered her academic pursuits by earning a Master of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College. Her graduate research and design work focused specifically on the critical synthesis of technical building performance and thoughtful, community-driven design principles. Shristi maintains an active and influential presence within the broader architectural and building-science community. She is the current Education Director of the IIBEC Southern Ontario Chapter and serves in key volunteer roles on the Membership and Technical Committees.
