Transmitter Park Weeding Workshop

Friends of WNYC Transmitter Park

<P>Calling local gardening volunteers and students of nature! Friends of WNYC Transmitter Park will be holding a weeding workshop to get a section of the Kent Street garden ready for a major planting. Local gardening expert Damion Lawyer will guide us through the process lending his knowledge about soil preparation and garden ecosystems. Support generously provided by <A HREF="http://www.citizensnyc.org" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Citizens Committee for New York City</A> and <A HREF="https://cityparksfoundation.org/about-partnerships-for-parks/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Partnership for Parks</A>. <A HREF="http://osanb.org" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn</A> is our organization partner.</P>
<P>Meet on the esplanade near the Willow tree, and prepare to get dirty!  Refreshments will be provided.</P>
