Join us for the official launch of Transit Ready — Contra Costa County's newest free program helping older adults and people with disabilities ride local bus and BART with confidence.

Whether you've never taken the bus before, want to brush up on your skills, or just want to know what options are out there — this event is for you. Come as you are. No experience needed.

What's waiting for you — all free, all on site:

🚌 Get on a real bus. An AC Transit bus will be right there in the parking lot. Practice boarding, see how the ramp works, and ask the driver your questions in a relaxed, no-pressure setting.

💳 Get help with your Clipper Card. Clipper staff will be on site to help you set up your card and sign up for the Senior Clipper discount — which can save you up to 64% on most Bay Area transit fares.

🗺️ Plan a real trip — with help. Not sure how to get somewhere by bus or BART? Sit down with staff from 511CCTA and map out a route together.

📋 Sign up for free classes. Transit Ready workshops are coming to a location near you this fall. Sign up at the event and be among the first to know when classes start in your neighborhood.
