TransformTO Long-Term Strategy Webinar

The Environment and Energy Division of the City of Toronto promotes environmental sustainability, energy efficiency and conservation within the City’s internal operations and the Toronto community as a whole.  The EEDdevelops and implements environmental and energy policies, projects and programs that promote sustainable development and the growth of the green economy anddelivers tools and resources to engage Toronto residents and businesses in adopting sustainable lifestyles and business practices.

TransformTO: Climate action for a healthy, equitable, prosperous Toronto is a collaborative project that engages the community in reducing Toronto's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 80 per cent by 2050. 
The City of Toronto is inviting residents to participate in online webinars that will provide an overview of the second TransformTO Report. TransformTO Report 2 will identify a long-term approach to reducing Toronto's greenhouse gas emissions by 80 per cent by 2050 while also improving health, prosperity and equity. 
TransformTO Webinar 
The informational webinar sessions will include a City staff presentation on the TransformTO process and recommendations, as well as an opportunity for public questions and comments.
The public is invited to join the TransformTO team at one of the following webinars: 
April 27          6:30pm – 8 pm
May 2             12pm – 1:30 pm. 
Each online event will begin with a 30 minute City staff presentation, followed by a 60 minute public Question & Answer period. 
Led by Toronto's Environment and Energy Division and The Atmospheric Fund, TransformTO has engaged more than 2,000 Torontonians to date through public consultation events, community conversations, an online survey and more.
