Transform and moving towards your goals using rituals
Let's gather and build rituals together. During our time, you'll both get a ritual to support your current growth path AND learn how to create more in the future for yourself. You may have seen or heard of examples of rituals that have been recommended to you. Some may work for you! But, the most effective rituals will always be the ones that are closely tied and custom to you. I'll teach you how to find and create the right ritual that is just right for you.
.
When done well, they transform our lives by bringing mindfulness to what we do and where we’re heading. It allows us to tap into the parts of ourselves that know how to listen to intuition and guide our transformation from within. Simply using thoughts or ‘pushing’ ourselves to be better can only get us so far. Real lasting transformation is an inside AND outside job. Rituals help us connect our outer dreams/yearnings to our inner ability to grow.
.
At the end of this workshop, will leave with the skills to find your deepest yearning, create a powerful ritual, do the ritual, and then concretize it in some way so you remember that you can continue nurturing the transformation you're seeking.

Having lived in Malaysia for 20+ years and the United States for 20+ years, he brings a mature balance of Eastern and Western wisdom for a holistic approach to consciousness for the modern spiritual seeker. He is a fan of Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell, Carole Kammen, Joseph Edinger, Alan Watts, Robert Johnson, Marie Louise Von Franz, Rumi, Brene Brown, Beatrice Chestnut, James, Hillman, and Caroline Myss just to name a few. Yaj is currently pursuing the Initiation process with a conscious men's group, the Tribe of Men.
Yaj has a degree in Information Systems and an MBA. Today, he is a Marketing Manager at a tech company where he helps connect their intentions to the way they present themselves to the world with the hopes of engaging both the organization and the audience in meaningful ways. He lives in the San Francisco Bay area and enjoys skydiving, reading, dancing, and dream work in his spare time.
F or over 10 years, his focus has been on the art of living a life connected to both the practical and the inner life. You might realize that both are necessary in today's world, but the way to find balance might prove challenging. His point of view considers the inner and outer life as necessary for our growth and wellness. We don't live in a bubble. Most of us have to work and live an open spiritual life at the same time. His mission is to teach everyone how to live through our heart-centers by listening to our intuition. He is most passionate about leading people into practices in living their most vibrant life possible by honoring our connection to the divine AND succeeding in our daily commitments/responsibilities. Doing rituals is one of the most powerful ways of connecting our intuition and deep psyches to our egos. While our egos looks for certainty and consistency, our psyches experience and speak to us in symbols. Consciously marrying both our ego's desire for individuation and growth WITH our psyches's understanding of symbolism creates the experience of wholeness and expansiveness like no other. This is why he is very passionate about this topic and excited to share it with us today!
Frequently asked questions
Come as you are. If you have an idea, bring it. If all you know is where you are and where you'd like to be instead, bring that. We will hone in on what your heart is seeking and come up with a ritual together.
Rituals are not religious. They are transformative acts that change your sense of self. While they were very much done predominantly in religious contexts way back in the day, today you'll be surprised how often you do them. You just don't see them as such.
