TRANSFORMERS ED IS BACK, BUT FOR THE FIRST TIME LIVE IN BRAZIL!

Transformers Foundation has announced that its education initiative, Transformers ED, will host its first ever live Transformers ED Brazil event on August 14th, 2023. This exclusive event, held at SENAI in Sao Paulo, invites students and denim enthusiasts to explore the best practices in the denim supply chain.Transformers ED Brazil, previously held online, is known for providing attendees with comprehensive insights into denim supply chain and brand building. This year, with the support of industry collaborators Covolan Denim, The Lycra Company, and SENAI, the event will be expanding its scope to include a diverse range of subjects.The 4-hour (from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm) program will follow a &quot;chronological&quot; order of the construction and stages of jeans treated in its essence: cotton, new fibers, microplastics, certifications, fighting greenwashing, the denim and jeans supply chain, new possibilities of processing denim, 3D Design, trends, and a fireside chat with two Brazilian denim brands. Participants will not only learn about fibers, machinery and finishing, but also delve into the areas of sustainability, creative design and the social impact of the Denim industry.Apart from a day of expert-led sessions, the event also includes an exclusive tour of Covolan Denim’s state-of-the-art facilities, giving attendees a chance to gain firsthand insights into the latest in denim innovation. This hands-on field trip adds a new dimension to the Transformers ED Brazil experience and will offer attendees a unique perspective on the innovative initiatives Covolan Denim has implemented.
