Calling all well-being and mental health hackers, creatives, and passion people! Join the Transformative Technology Lab for the re-launch of our signature HACK DAY on Saturday, Dec 3.
At Hack Day, makers and creatives will form interdisciplinary project teams and explore our most promising ideas on psychological transformation in an informal, action-oriented environment.
This event is IDEAL to bring your idea to life, connect with like-minded makers and doers, and explore our lab's extensive library of transformative technologies.
Makers: find new collaborators across skillsets in full-stack, VR, data science, biosensors, and design as you get feedback on your ideas and make forward progress.
Not an engineer? By request, we've added a non-technical track based on Design Thinking, an interdisciplinary collaboration process pioneered at Stanford. No experience necessary.
If you just want to play, we will be featuring yoga and dance classes on demand, as well as demos of several transformative technologies, including: Muse EEG, HeartMath stress tracking, GSR skin conductance, tDCS brain stimulation, light-and-sound brain entrainment, and the mythical God Helmet.
Don't have an idea? No problem! Join one of our community projects, and learn about the most promising new technologies in the space of psychological transformation:
+ “Biofields in Virtual Reality w/ Lewey G:” Visualize the human biofield in VR using biosensors and a simulation engine. Learn more at vrbiofields.strikingly.com.
+ “Open-Source Brain Hacking w/ NeurotechX SV:" Join our community of brain hackers to explore the latest tools in quantified brain science, including an open-source wearable analytics platform. Learn more at neurotechx.com.
+ "Real-Time Meditation Biofeedback w/ Ari:" Explore different ways of integrating biofeedback from HRV, EEG, and GSR into the legendary meditation course run by the TTL. Learn more about the course at finderscourse.com.
Join us on Facebook to stay tuned on the latest community updates, and connect with your fellow makers before and after the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/222298314842365/
10-11: project pitches, form project teams
11-5: build time, with transformative experiences, yoga, and dance available throughout the day
5-6: demo what we built, wrap-up
Hack Day is an informal event as part of the TTL's broader effort to support a community of transformative technology makers and creatives, and revolutionize humanity's well-being.
