SEA/SFis an alliance of leaders of business and technology for social justice. We are organizational leaders, investors and entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay Area who believe that business and technology must serve the interests of every person in society. We organize for collective impact, with the vision of a San Francisco Bay Area where everyone has the opportunity to invest, start, partner, work, and purchase from businesses and technologies that create direct benefits for vulnerable populations in the community. We take a purposeful, inclusive, and innovative approach for convening leaders from all sectors, ages, and stages to benefit social enterprises, the communities they impact, and the social enterprise movement.SEA/SF is an official chapter of Social Enterprise Alliance, the largest network of social enterprises in North America, with a 20‐year history of field leadership, a national network of over 1,000 members in 40 states, and a local footprint of 16 chapters. Members include top practitioners, leading thinkers, investors, public policy leaders and a wide range of service providers.

Are you a social impact consultant? Do you wish you had a group of values-aligned peers that you could talk honestly about your struggles with, build trust around, and even share work with? Would you like to do that in a loosely facilitated space where we help each other look deeply into the problems we’re facing, often revealing them in a new light?The San Francisco Bay Area Social Enterprise Alliance cordially invites you to join the Transformative Consultants Affinity Group, a community of purpose-driven consultants supporting each other through the challenges we face in our work and businesses. Using a peer advising protocol inspired by the Adaptive Leadership framework, each month we will come together to build community, do a progressively deeper dive into the challenges and opportunities presented by participants, and brainstorm concrete actions we can take to overcome them. And in-between sessions, we have a dedicated Slack channel to continue our conversations #affinity-consultants.Affinity Group - Meetup Sessions FormatMeet once a month on 4th Friday from 12-1:30pm PTMax attendees per session: 20Agenda<ul><li>(15 mins) Intros</li><li>(20 mins) Skills for Adaptive Leadership</li><li>(10 mins) Explaining the protocol/choosing case presenters</li><li>(45 mins) Peer advising session</li></ul>Mutual Aid Model Donations of $20 per consultant are requested to support the main facilitator, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. 10% of your donations will go to SEA SF Bay Area for assisting with the logistics and promotion of this gathering, as well as for maintaining our Slack community. To support collective leadership, this affinity group uses rotating facilitation so that each month’s gathering will be led by someone else, who will also benefit from that month’s financial contributions. Please keep that in mind when considering your own donation!
