Since 2017, Magma Math has changed how maths is taught in Sweden for pupils aged 6 to 18. Today, over 70 % of all Swedish schools and over 500,000 pupils in the US, divided into 34 states, use Magma. Since Magma launched in the UK in the fall of 2023, teachers have simply loved the service. They agree with Magma's core pillars in Maths education: Creativity, Collaboration, and Data-driven teaching.<ul><li>Let pupils show their work - not only their answer</li><li>Embrace Math discourses in full class and pupil-to-pupil</li><li>Identify and address knowledge gaps when they appear</li></ul>During this Session, Magma Maths will describe how to increase student engagement and keep focus on quality instead of quantity during maths lessons.
