I am a professional coach, somatic guide, and artist. With over 12 years of experience supporting women one on one, in group workshops, and in the wild, I have dedicated my life to learning and sharing the art(s) of somatic reconnection so we can all live more fully alive. After that, tickets are $25 at the door**TranceForm is a movement practice designed to take you on the journey of your inner wilderness so you can show up fully and vibrantly to your life. With TranceForm You WillFeel and express any stuck emotion (fear, anger, grief, even joy) so you can radiate with clear and vibrant channels.Get in touch with your deepest truth and knowing so you can move forward in life with clear action and integrity.Twerk up a sweat and get down hard as you celebrate your sacred body vessel with an incredible community.TranceForm was created by Riyah Thor as her own movement mixture of the lessons she’s learned, including 9 years of studying and practicing 5-Rhythms with Melissa Michaels, 8 years studying and practicing journey work, 6 years of somatic coaching work, and 10 years of transformational wilderness journey and vision quest guiding. TranceForm FAQ**Is this an ecstatic dance?**No. This is a conscious dance journey. We are showing up together to practice authentic expression, but this is NOT a space where anything goes. There will be facilitated cues guiding you back toward your own experience through the dance, and taking you through different rhythms and parts of yourself so you can practice building a deeper relationship with the whole of you through movement.**What’s the music like? **You’ll hear some 5R inspiration in the musical waves, some deep bass get downs, and some epic drops to get wild to, surrounded by gentle invitations to rise and rest. You can check out a similar set at riyahthor.com/dance**When should I arrive?**I recommend arriving by 6:15 for the warm up music. Please arrive no later than 6:25 so you can join the group for the entire journey. Plan extra time to drive up the mountain, walk down from the parking lot, and take care of yourself before we begin. Please bring enough water for the entire journey. The doors will LOCK at 6:45 to honor the container. If you cannot arrive before then, please come next time. No refunds for late arrivals.**Is this a space for contact improv?**No. While all forms of partner dancing can be great in the right contexts, the practice of TranceForm is about a sovereign dance with self. There may be times in the dance we play or interact with someone else (with consent), but even these will be in the context of how you’re relating to your own energy in the process.**Will I have to over-exert myself physically or emotionally?**No. This dance journey is NOT about overriding yourself to make it too intense physically or emotionally. You can always do less. While there will be invitations to traverse into edgier territories within yourself, the entire focus of TranceForm is to help you CHOOSE your navigation at the amount that truly supports you. Need to turn down the dial on the feelings? Cool. Need to sit or lay down for a while? Please do! Your self care and safety is fundamental to ANY threshold crossing, so always trust your need in that space and prioritize it.**Will there be spiritual creepers there?**No. I am sad but not surprised that this has become an FAQ. TranceForm is a container for deep self-reflection and healing, as such, we prioritize integrity and safety FOR and FROM all our participants. This is not a space to pick up dates. This is not a space to express leaky boundaries or penetrating sexual energy with others. (If you are complained about, you will be asked to leave and not allowed back.) There are other spaces doing a great job inviting and facilitating this energy, so check them out instead.Rather, TranceForm is an invitation to own the fullness of who you are (sexuality / desires included), and learn to circulate that raw energy inside yourself as sovereign power - to dance with yourself in it. On the flip side, it can be a safe place to practice owning your true boundaries and dancing with self-trust. This is a dance to practice finding the thing you seek in others within yourself. As long as you&#x27;re willing to learn about it within yourself, it&#x27;s welcome!
