Online Training Session for Terraform
The workshop will be delivered using Zoom.
Are you interested in using HashiCorp Terraform to provision your AWS infrastructure? The benefits for being able to automate the process or just for skipping the manual labour can be game-changing. Or does your team use Terraform already and you would like to bring new colleagues up to speed faster? During this half-day workshop we will introduce you to Terraform and help you learn about its basic concepts. Hands-on sessions throughout the course allow you to explore the teaching topics and experiment for yourself.

- The basics of what IaC and Terraform are, and how to install the tools
- How to create and change resources using Terraform
- How Terraform understands your resources and their dependencies so that it can minimise change
- How you can parameterise your Terraform code and reference existing infrastructure
- How to collaborate effectively with other Terraform engineers
Who should attend?
Anyone who has an interest in using Terraform to manage their AWS resources. Software Developers, DevOps Engineers, Systems Admins, Infrastructure Engineers.
Don’t have any experience with infrastructure as code? Don’t worry, we’ll introduce you to the basics and demonstrate the skills you will need to get up and running using Terraform.
A final few things
Prior experience with AWS CLI tooling and profiles is preferred.
