  • Learn to facilitate Healing Circles: a powerful tool to build community and work through painful emotions
  • After this Training the Trainer series, you’ll be able to facilitate healing circles at your organization and in your community, for youth, families, and staff
  • Get out of fight/flight and grind culture - slow down and connect
  • Explore the feelings in safe environment
  • Find compassion in community

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: Healing Circles are a powerful tool for building community and helping participants work through difficult experiences and emotions. In this three-part series, you’ll participate in a Healing Circle, learn the facilitation tools to run one, and then practice facilitation with the support of experts.

We made it through that pandemic, but DANG things are still hard. The kids are struggling, behaviors are rough, and sometimes we are barely holding it together. A healing circle is a powerful way to explore your hard emotions in a soft way. Think of it as a support group with a little more ceremony. We’ll include mindfulness, poetry, ritual, and sharing to help you explore the areas you need to heal. Take some time for yourself and join us!
