This training will equip mentors with tools for supporting students academically through a model of coaching and executive function support.Important Information:<ul><li>One-hour Zoom webinar (sign-up required).</li><li>This training involves group participation. Please prepare a microphone and quiet workspace.</li></ul>Agenda:<ul><li>Presentation: What is executive function? How does it relate to our students' academic challenges, and how can mentors help?</li><li>Discussion: What kinds of skills and strategies does a college student need to be successful? How can we help our students get hands-on practice using these skills?</li><li>Small Group Activity: Practice applying executive function support strategies to common student situations.</li></ul>To sign up for this training, click Select a Date above.
