Join Great Meadows Conservation Trust's Tim Lewis, and Connecticut River Conservancy’s Rhea Drozdenko (River Steward in CT) for a paddle on the Connecticut River. We will launch from Wethersfield Cove at 10:30AM so arrive in plenty of time to have your boat unloaded and be ready. We will paddle south to Crow Point Cove. Learn about natural and man made changes to the area and hear how Goodwin University, in collaboration with the NRCS and Nature Conservancy, are working to restore the area that was once excavated to construct I-91. We will paddle into Keeney Cove on the return to Wethersfield Cove.

This is an intermediate paddle. Life vests are required. You must provide your own canoe or kayak. Sunscreen, snacks and water are highly recommended. Heavy rain or high water cancels.

Pre-Registration is required. For more information contact Tim Lewis: 860-558-4819,
