Come together for our next Trade Room Talk! JOIN US Tuesday, May 13 from 6p-9p by mingling with familiar and new faces in the Trade Room at The Junto- a gorgeous new hotel just west of downtown in Franklinton, across from Cosi. Centered around the idea of coming together, The Junto welcomes all for this special series. There will be snacks and drinks available, lots of cozy seating and even a little outdoor space to hang out in.

Hosted by our Lifestyle Curator, Ariana Lindenfelser.

Part strategist, part storyteller, Colin Page McGinnis turns Main Street dreams into living, breathing experiences. At the helm of McGinnis Enterprise, he re-imagines local businesses—tea houses, mobile bars, pop-ups, and more—into playful moments that knit communities together. A 2024 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree for Social Impact, Colin has scaled organizations, unlocked seven-figure funding, and launched industry-defining initiatives, all while grounding every venture in neighborhood soil and evidence-based insight from his training as a developmental psychologist.

Off the balance sheet, you’ll spot him with a matcha whisk in one hand and a juice box in the other—dad duty calls for his two young kids. Colin’s mission is constant: spark authentic connection, celebrate local culture, and leave a little more delight in his wake.

6-7pm - Mingling & light bites

7-8pm - Part hands-on Matcha demonstration and workshop and part discussion

8-9pm - Open Format Q+A

The event is complimentary to attend, please just RSVP!

The Junto is a modern-day embodiment of the former club of the same name. This original “club for mutual improvement” founded by Ben Franklin in 1727, brought together people from all backgrounds to discuss issues and ideas of the time. With an emphasis on public gathering spaces, our hotel gives visitors, locals, entrepreneurs, and artists alike a place to come together, exchange ideas, and inspire one another.
