About this event

  • 2 days 6 hours

The Trad Crafts Festival is a three day event championing traditional crafts such as Dry Stone Walling, Hedgelaying, Stonemasonry, Blacksmithing, Printmaking, Brewing and much more!

Through the running of various courses and demonstrations, this not-for-profit festival is aimed at anyone with an interest in traditional crafts and anyone willing to try something new.

Set in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside, but drawing craftspeople from across the country and around the world, the festival gives a huge nod to the legacy of these long-established crafts whilst bringing them up to date with fresh perspectives and a gently renegade vibe. We've created an event where everyone is welcome; an open minded, laid back vibe where you can try something new and learn a skill for life.

You can attend the festival without signing up to a course and just soak in the fantastic atmosphere: with live music, great beer from O'Briens (Holmfirth), amazing food from our street food vendors, and craft stallholders selling beautiful artefacts that will last a lifetime.

As a not-for-profit festival keen to welcome everyone, no matter their circumstances, we endeavour to make tickets as affordable as possible. We believe strongly that no one should be turned away due to lack of funds, and so we have a 75% discount code available for those that wouldn't be able to come otherwise. Please use this code honestly if you feel that this applies to you:
