About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Experience the magnificent architecture of the historic Liberty Hill Baptist Church. This sacred landmark was formerly known as the Euclid Ave. Temple and home to Cleveland’s oldest Jewish congregation, Anshe Chesed. Delight in a tour of this monumental building which was constructed over twelve years from 1912 to 1924 and designed in the Moorish Revival and Romanesque Revival styles. Adorned with multi-colored brick and terracotta accents, the façade creates a stunning tapestry effect. See how Liberty Hill Baptist Church, now under the guidance of Pastor Michael L. Brown, has been a loving steward of the building since 1956. Join us for a tour facilitated by Pastor Brown and Margaret Lann from the Cleveland Restoration Society to learn more about its history and its special architectural elements including original stained glass windows from Tiffany Studios and Ludowici tile roof.

Free, Registration Required.
