For 12 consecutive years, beginners and advanced meditators gathered at Unity Village, Missouri, for our annual sold-out Silent Retreat. When the world closed down in 2020, we retreated into a hiatus of our own. But now we’re back and ready to provide one more immersive installment of our popular, meditative event. And you are invited to join us.

The Experience

With facilitation under the direction of gifted retreat leader Rev. Paulette Pipe, guests will participate in a safe, sacred retreat designed to soothe and serenade the soul.

This exquisite retreat experience ushers participants into a dedicated time of silent reflection and renewal with just the right amount of soul-nourishing mindfulness and meditation practices, underscored in places by a gentle meditative soundtrack. To further nudge you along your journey of inner stillness, our well-crafted retreat programs provide plentiful opportunities to experience holy silence and include quality time for personal self-care. Guests are also often surprised how, although in the Silence, they still manage to form deep connections with like-minded people that evolve into lasting friendships.

You will leave not only feeling upbeat and refreshed but you’ll also be armed with helpful tips and tools you can put to good use in daily life.

Rev. Paulette Pipe, is a meditation leader and teacher, professional sacred space holder (a.k.a. “Keeper of the Flame”), retreat facilitator, podcast host, ordained Unity Minister, and recipient of the 2023 Myrtle Fillmore Award.

With a distinctive, mesmerizing voice, and a reputation for leading powerful, heartfelt meditations, Paulette masterfully creates deep and enriching sacred experiences that draw from a wide range of traditional and unexpected spiritual practices.

Paulette will gently guide you through engaging activities and rituals that include soul-soothing music. You’ll also experience mindful moments of pause to help regroup and rediscover balance for the frazzled spirit.

Singer songwriter, keyboardist, recording artist Kelley Hunt’s acclaimed career comprises over 1,800 live performances, including some of the most prominent venues and festival stages in North America and Europe, hundreds of thousands of indie units sold and downloaded, six appearances on American Public Media’s award-winning radio show “A Prairie Home Companion,” and much more.

Kelley will join us on Thursday evening, our opening night, and again at the close of the retreat for our spectacular "Sunday Experience."

Pricing

Early bird: $495 through May 31, 2024

Regular registration: $569 from June 1 through August 22, 2024

Registration fee includes five meals. Accommodations are booked and paid for separately. Complimentary breakfast is availalble daily if you're staying at the Unity Village Hotel and Conference Center.

You'll need to act fast! This event typically sells out before the Early Bird date expires, so be sure to register early to avoid disappointment. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Hotel rooms are available at the award-winning Unity Village Hotel and Conference Center. Take advantage of the discounted hotel rate of $134/night when you register online for this event. In your confirmation email you will receive details about how to reserve your room.

Airbnbs are a great option if you're bringing a group. Retreat guests will receive a 20% discount on the daily rate for Fillmore Manor. To take advantage of the discounted Airbnb rate, please contact our hotel team at 816-347-5537. Golf carts are also available for rent for Airbnb guests.

Transportation from the airport is not included.
