Touching the Heart with Christian Mystics: Contemplative Insights and Meditative Practices is a six-session contemplative circle guided by Erica McIlroy and Will Adams.
Together we’ll explore core spiritual insights from the Christian mystical tradition and practice accessible forms of meditation such as Centering Prayer and lectio divina (contemplative reading). Each session includes guided practice, teaching pointers from Erica and Will, and shared group conversation.
Topics and teachers may include: Jesus, Julian of Norwich, Meister Eckhart, The Cloud of Unknowing, Saint Teresa of Ávila, Saint John of the Cross, Thomas Merton, and James Finley.
No previous experience is necessary. Come as you are.
Healthy snacks will be provided. Donations are welcome.
