Touch. Exploring textiles and our sense of Touch. A Curated Collection

from out of the blue studio gallery is a boutique space devoted to textile and fibre arts. We are located just off Surf Highway 45 above Middleton Bay in Opunake. For this collection of works the artists were asked to explore the meaning of 'Touch'. There are artefacts made from both conventional and non-conventional materials that are all available for the visitor to hold, stroke and explore through our must primary of all senses - touch. They range from utilitarian to sculptural, therapeutic to aesthetic. There is something everyone will relate to and can experience a tactile exploration of.
