Tony Saxon

Originally hailing from Northern New Jersey and now soaking up the sunshine in Los Angeles, California, Tony has been deeply involved in music for over a decade. His journey began in childhood, watching his father, Tony Saxon Sr., perform the timeless hits of the 50s and 60s at various venues across the USA, from Atlantic City to Las Vegas. These melodies became ingrained in his mind from a young age, even as he caused mischief running around casinos while his father entertained in the lounges.

With determination and a rebellious spirit, Tony taught himself guitar using a $25 Kramer St-300 from a pawn shop. As he matured, he ventured into sneaking into college music rooms to teach himself piano, despite dropping out of high school.

His youth was spent living on the road and sometimes in his car, indulging in wild parties and collaborating with both renowned and lesser-known punk, indie, and metal bands. Throughout it all, he continuously honed his craft, blending the nostalgic tunes of his father's repertoire with his own evolving musical tastes and a myriad of vocal styles he developed over the years.

Desert Blues Revival at the Cascade Lounge offers state-of-the-art sound and lighting with pristine acoustics, unobstructed sight lines, and plush seating.

• Doors open at 6pm with a 7pm showtime. Feel free to arrive early to enjoy drinks!

• Drinks served throughout the show, there is no minimum order.

• No refunds except for COVID-related shutdown.

• Free covered parking in attached garage.

Food is not served in the Cascade Lounge but can be brought in from any of the casino restaurants. We do have a full bar with no drink minimums.
