Tolt Hive Writing Workshop
If it’s not already a habit, it’s hard to find time to write. If you do carve out even a modest chunk of time, so many things can derail it: What should I write about? Why bother? Shouldn’t I be doing something more productive with my time? I’m not a very good writer. What would I do with it if I did write something? Oh, I hope no one ever reads this. And at the very same time, I wish someone would read this, because then they'd know me. We’ll address all of that and more.
We’ll spend the two-hour workshop mining our lives for material, and writing in a supportive, creative environment. No writing experience is needed, but experienced writers are welcome. You’ll leave the class with new material and inspiration.

FAQs
Q: Do I need to bring my own supplies (paper, pens/pencils, etc)?
A: Yes. Please bring a notebook and pen/pencils. I prefer to use an inexpensive spiral bound notebook with lined paper, but bring whatever you like to write in.
Q: I don't have any writing experience, but I'd like to get started. Is this a good class for me?
A: Yes! No prior experience is needed. The class will be about getting unstuck, moving forward with your writing whether you're a beginner or an experienced writer.
Q: Will I have to share what I've written during the workshop?
A: No. Everyone will be offered the opportunity to share what they've written, but if you prefer to keep your writing private, that's fine too.
Q: Who do I contact with any other questions about this event?
A: Please contact Betsy MacWhinney at betsyjm@gmail.com
