Toddler Time

Bring your toddler and preschool age kids to Mosaic Room for fun activities and play!

Bring your toddlers and preschoolers for an open play session designed to spark curiosity, movement, and social interaction. Our bright and welcoming space will have a fun activities that will vary week to week, including age-appropriate toys, coloring or paint, beads and crafts, playdough or other kid friendly activities. Your little one can play freely while you connect with other parents and caregivers.

Each week follows a general theme, with activities that rotate and change. While the structure stays consistent, specific activities will vary from week to week. Free play toys will also be out each week in addition to the themes.

🌈 Week 1: Sensory Play
A hands-on exploration of textures and materials. Activities may include:
-Sensory bins (scooping, pouring, sorting)
-Water, foam, or other messy play
-Themed sensory setups
-A simple craft or activity

🧱 Week 2: Build & Create
Open-ended building and creating. Activities may include:
-Blocks, magnetic tiles, and stacking materials
-Cardboard or loose parts building
-Simple building challenges or themes "fort building", etc.
-Knock-down and rebuild play

🎨 Week 3: Art & Messy Making
Creative, process-based art. Activities may include:
-Painting (brushes, sponges, rollers)
-Stickers, stamps, and collage
-Clay or playdough
-Crafts
-Texture-based art
-Occasional face painting

🏃 Week 4: Move & Play
A more active, high-energy session. Activities may include:
-Movement games and simple group activities
-Balls, tunnels, or stepping paths
-Obstacle-style setups or movement stations
-Music, dance, scarves, or bubbles

🐾 Week 5: Special Theme (when applicable)
When there’s a 5th week, we switch things up with something a little different. Activities may include:
-Pretend play (restaurant, doctor, animals, etc.)
-Seasonal or holiday themes
-Bubbles or water play
-Other rotating or one-time activities
