The Cultural Center in New York Mills is a rural hub for creativity, community vitality, and lifelong learning in the arts. We offer visitors intimate opportunities to encounter art and artists in our 80-seat concert listening room, two galleries in a historic building, a gift store featuring local artists, an artist residency program, a sculpture park, and a variety of opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. Since our incorporation in 1990, we have been passionate about connecting people to artists and rich cultural experiences in rural Minnesota, celebrating the local and being a window to the world.

Global multi-instrumentalist Todd Green performs in the NYM School Auditorium!

Multi-Instrumentalist Todd Green performs original music on over 30 acoustic string, flute and percussion instruments from all over the world, inspired by many different cultures in the Middle East, Central Asia, Far East and South America.Todd’s artistic mission is to &quot;help bring down the barriers that divide us by experiencing other cultures through their music.&quot;This concert is presented by the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center, but takes place in the New York Mills Public School Auditorium. NYM 4th grades students, who will work with Todd earlier in the week, will join Todd for his final song of the concert. In honor of the Cultural Center&#x27;s 30th anniversary year, and thanks to grant support from the Lake Region Arts Council and Arts Midwest Touring Fund, adult tickets are just $5 and students attend FREE! Adults are welcome to buy online, or just pay at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and concert begins at 7:00 p.m.
