Todd & Carol's Beach Wedding

Todd & Carol met where a lot of 21st century relationships have begun these days, on an internet dating site. Their first date was at a Starbucks in Aurora, CO before Carol had to go to work. Needless to say, finding a place to sit and talk during the Fall of 2020 was not the easiest thing to do. As they began to open up to each other, they realized that there was a unique spark and undeniable chemistry as they sipped coffee together. But after their third date, they actually stopped talking for a while.

Being that Carol is from a traditional and more reserved culture, she was shy and wasn’t sure how she felt about this new person. Todd took this as a sign of low interest and didn't think that Carol liked him enough to continue dating. They might not have united again if communication wasn't so easy in the age of social media. It wasn't until a few months later that they reconnected and began to pick up where they left off.

In November 2021, Their relationship skyrocketed when they travelled to Miami for their first trip together. This built a sense of romanticism for Florida that continues to this day. During January 2022, their bond was tested as they both contracted Covid 19 in the gym where they enjoyed working out. The pandemic was a thorn in their side throughout the beginning of their relationship.

Soon after this, they began to explore the outdoors of Colorado. Todd signed Carol up for a class at the local rock climbing gym in March 2022 and began to teach her the ins-and-outs of the sport. As this is a partner centered activity, trust for each other deepened as their lives were literally in one another's hands. In June 2022, he took her to hike her first 14,000ft peak and she fell in love with the mountains for the same reasons he does.

During this time, Carol began to expose Todd to the healthy activities of juicing and massage. As a longtime yoga practitioner, she showed him new aspects of wellbeing that he embraced. Carol also fostered a greater sense of spirituality within Todd by encouraging him to pray during difficult times. They both vowed to put God in the center of their relationship and trust in the outcome. Their love for similar past-times and future dreams fostered the couple's goals that they live by and enjoy repeating to each other often.

A personal and intimate word has emerged for them to symbolize their relationship and the devotion that they feel for each other. Unbreakable. Together through good times and tough times, they seek to apply this mentality of loyalty and devotedness for the rest of their lives in the union of holy matrimony. The day of the wedding was chosen as the number eight is symbolic in Asian culture for the significance of infinity. Many weddings are traditionally held on this date for good luck and prosperity within the marriage.
