The workshop is designed to assist eligible applicants in the preparation of the 2020 TOD Program application. The primary goal of the TOD Program is to stimulate housing developments near transit stations that include affordable units and promote public transit ridership. Under the program, low-interest loans are available as gap financing for rental housing developments that include affordable units. In addition, grants are available to cities, counties, and transit agencies for infrastructure improvements necessary for the development of specified housing developments or to facilitate connections between these developments and the transit station.The session will cover Program Overview, Program Requirements, Application Submission, Reviews and Appeals, and Award Announcements and Contract Management. Following each session there will be a Q&amp;A/Technical Assistance period for applicants with additional questions for HCD staff.
