Our goal, as a group of representatives of Spanish theatre in Austin, is to bring high-level productions to our diverse community. We consider ourselves artistic and cultural ambassadors in the Southern area of the United States, with very ambitious strategies which include, among other things, working with internationally acclaimed actors, directors, and playwrights.Nuestro cometido es producir teatro al mejor nivel, somos representantes del teatro Latinoamericano en Austin, una ciudad diversa en todo el sentido de la palabra. Esto nos convierte en embajadores artísticos y culturales en toda el área Sur de los Estados Unidos, con estrategias muy ambiciosas que incluyen, entre otras cosas, trabajar con actores, directores y escritores reconocidos a nivel internacional.

Six OCD patients encounter each other on their visit to meet famous psychiatrist, Dr. Cooper, in order to cure their disorders. However, Dr. Cooper is not in office on the day of their visit due to an unexpected flight delay. In the absence of the doctor, the patients start developing into their own self-healing group therapy.
TOC TOC was first staged in France, written by French playwright, Laurent Baffie. After its debut, it became one of the most favored long-running shows in Paris, and After being adapted to Spanish by Julian Quintanilla, TOC TOC became a smashing box office hit with more than 3,000 performances in Spain, Argentina, Mexico and Peru over five years. After it’s worldwide theatrical success, Baffie’s Toc Toc became one of Spains movie hits streaming worldwide via Netflix.
This season, TOC TOC is staged in Austin, Texas for the first time, brought to you by Pedemonte Productions and Austin Scottish Rite Theater. The play will be performed in Spanish with English Surtitles.
Toc Toc sets the return of Bolivian Director Julio Palacios Azero. The cast includes Alejandra Murga, Chuy Velásquez, Mónica Fossi, Verónica Pomata, Antonio Medrano, Emily Smith, Margarita Tovar and Alejandro Pedemonte.

Toc Toc, una obra del francés Laurent Baffie, cuenta la historia de seis pacientes con Trastornos obsesivo-compulsivos (toc) que se conocen en la sala de espera de un reconocido psiquiatra. El problema es que el avión que trae al doctor sufre un inesperado retraso, lo que les obliga a compartir una interminable espera hasta que el doctor aparezca pero la ansiedad les traiciona con ideas de las que no pueden escapar y que les provocan miedo, nerviosismo, inquietud y comportamientos repetitivos, llevándolos a sacar sus propias, y disparatadas, conclusiones.
Está la que necesita verificar todo más de una vez; el que no puede parar de hacer cuentas, el que de la nada dice palabrotas, una hipocondríaca consumada, otra que repite todo, y otro que tiene fobia a las rayas. Un muestrario de trastornos sobre el escenario que combina psicología y humor feroz, dos de las claves, pero no las únicas, que han convertido a Toc Toc en un fenómeno tetral
TOC TOC se presenta en Austin, Texas por primera vez producido por Pedemonte Productions y Austin Scottish Rite Theater. La obra será en Español con subtitulos en Ingles. Toc Toc marca el regreso del Director Boliviano Julio Palacios Azero.
