the first and third Tuesdays of each month, 7-8 PM (US Central Time) meeting. We suggest signing in around 6:45 to ensure good audio and video connection.
The goal of TNT is to help us become more effective online communicators. Whether you present to geographically varied teams or simply converse with people, this club will help you hone your online skills.
You’ll learn tips like:
- Hand gestures are different online. If your hands are between your face and the camera, they look giant.
- Sit further away from the camera if you want to use your hands.
- Lighting is important – backlighting creates shadows that prevent people from being able to see you and your facial expressions.
- Remember to mute when not speaking. Sound can echo and other noises around you can distract other participants.
