March Schedule

  • March 6 to 8, 2023 | 9:30 am – 5:00 pm ET

June Schedule

  • June 12-14, 2023 | 9:30 am – 5:00 pm ET

This intensive 3-day course introduces new users to the basic functionality of TMS. The focus is on cataloguing objects; tracking exhibition, loan, and shipping activities; linking media to records; searching the database; reporting on and exporting data, and more. This is a hands-on class; in-person participants are provided with their own fully configured workstation to use during training.

The TMS for Windows Core Application Training workshop is appropriate for all TMS for Windows users, such as registrars, curators, educators, archivists, support staff, and anyone who uses TMS on a regular basis. This includes:

  • New users (e.g., new staff members, students in college/masters programs, soon-to-be job seekers interested in learning TMS for Windows, etc.)
  • Existing users (who want to refresh their TMS knowledge or learn about the new advancements from a recent upgrade)

This course assumes the student has little or no familiarity with TMS. However, experienced TMS users who want to expand their understanding of TMS will also benefit from participating in this hands-on workshop.
