Art Salvage

Learn to make tiny quilts from the scrap bin.

<p>Participants will sew a tiny quilt from start to finish. We will discuss how to select materials from the scrap bin to use as the top, backing and batting, considerations for thrifting thread, needles and pins/clips. Participants will learn how to begin and finish a thread, appliqué stitch and running stitch. These skills will be building blocks for participants to apply to future projects replicating our process or applying to larger projects.</p>
