Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Truvi’s music is naturally influenced by Reggae and Dancehall culture, which she combines with her personal affinity for R&B, Neo Soul, & Afrobeats - a combination genre known as Alté. She slips in and out of Jamaican patois in her songs, showing off her Caribbean heritage, and is occasionally accompanied by her ukulele or guitar on the stage. She is proudly a part of the new, exciting wave of music coming out of Jamaica.
