Tiny Beer Fest 2024

Tiny Beer Fest 2024 is an outdoor event hosted by High Side, featuring 45+ craft beers, ciders & more, Asian street food, music, a Dad Joke contest, and 10% of the proceed will be donated to a local charity.

• All ages are welcome, but a valid ID is required to provide proof of legal drinking age (21-year-old or older)
• 10% of the ticket proceeds will be donated to Britepaths, a local non-profit organization who provides short-term safety-net services to our neighbors in need while empowering them to work toward long-term self-sufficiency.
• Vendors will be on site to offer Father’s Day gift ideas

VIP ticket: $60, including:

Limited VIP tickets are available for online pre-order only and NOT available at the door

1. One-hour early admission, with doors opening for VIP attendees at 12PM
2. 45+ thoughtfully curated craft beer, cider, and mead tasting (3 oz each)
3. Special or limited-edition beer/cider/mead for VIP attendees (Not available for General admission)
4. One commemorative glassware included

General admission: $45 online pre-order, including:

1. Door opens for general admission at 1PM

1. 45+ thoughtfully curated craft beer, cider, and mead tasting (3 oz each)
2. General Admission tickets will be available at the door for $55 until 3PM

$5 for designated driver for admission (100% donated to charity):

· This ticket grants admission to the event, but consuming alcohol is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right, at our discretion to remove any designated driver found consuming alcohol.

· Guest under 18 years old do not require a ticket to enter

· Asian street foods are available for purchase separately

· Merchandise are available for purchase separately

· DJ music and games are available

· Pets are welcome but must be on a leash and under physical control at all times

About Dad Joke Contest:

• Timing: 2 PM to 3 PM.

• Registration: Contestants must add a Dad Joke Contest signup or register online ahead of time using the following link. https://forms.gle/HAE55exHTayWA6Di7

• Ticket Requirement: Contestants must have either a General Admission or VIP Ticket.

• Participation in this contest is not limited to fathers.
• Prizes: The winner will receive a trophy and a $100 High Side gift card

First Round:

• Each contestant will be given one minute to impress a panel of judges.

• Contestants are not required to use the entire one-minute time limit and can tell as many dad jokes as they can within that one minute.

• Judges will determine if a joke qualifies as a dad joke and score them accordingly.

• Judges will provide an overall score for the dad jokes delivered by each contestant.

Final Round:

• The top five highest-scoring contestants will advance to the final round.
• Each finalist will present three dad jokes.
• The winner of the dad joke contest will be determined by the cheers of the audience.

Britepaths provides short-term safety-net services to our neighbors in need while empowering them to work toward long-term self-sufficiency. In 2024, Britepaths is celebrating 40 years of providing help and hope to Northern Virginia residents experiencing an economic crisis. Similar to a business, we provide a service to the community called social impact: the effect an organization's actions have on the wellbeing of the community.

Britepaths was honored to be named the 2019 Non-Profit of the Year by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce in recognition of our long service to the community. In 2021, our Executive Director Lisa Whetzel received an Honorable Mention for the Center for Nonprofit Advancement's EXCEL Award.
