Description

This is part of a series of very targetted 'learning events' where interested people can get together and share knowledge or ask for help with solutions for their own circumstance. Its all planned to be very informal, and a way of sparking ideas for improving our practice.

The next Time to Learn session will be an opportunity to look at the idea of using small groups work as a bridge to other social activity.

It cropped up at the network meeting earlier this month that more than one project had been using small groups with a good degree of success, especially for those whose anxiety was a barrier to them going straight into a larger social group. There was quite a bit of interest from those in the room, and I thought it was worth throwing it open to everyone interested in shared learning. Julie from the Bramley Elderly Action Supported Wellbeing project will tell us how she has been doing , and I am trying to get a few of the others who have tried it along as well

There will be tea and cake provided, or maybe scones? I'll decide later
